The best time to visit is from mid-July to mid-August when the flowers are in full bloom after the monsoon rains. If you go before July, you’ll see more snow and melting glaciers, but fewer flowers. After mid-August, the colors start to change, and the flowers begin to dry up.

Day 1: Arrival at Haridwar and Transfer to Govind Ghat
Upon arrival in Haridwar, proceed to Rishikesh and Dehradun before transferring to Govind Ghat.
Day 2: Trek to Ghangaria
Arrive at Govind Ghat, the base camp for the trek. Reach Govind Ghat by road from Rishikesh or Haridwar.
From Govind Ghat, drive to Pulna (approximately 4 km) or commence trekking directly from Govind Ghat.
Trek from Pulna/Govind Ghat to Ghangaria (approximately 9-14 km, 4-7 hours). Ghangaria is a small village that serves as the base for visiting the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.
Check into your accommodation in Ghangaria and rest.
Day 3: Trek to Valley of Flowers Uttarakhand India. and Return to Ghangaria
Begin your trek to the Valley of Flowers early in the morning. The entry gate is situated a few kilometres from Ghangaria.
Trek to the Valley of Flowers (approximately 3-5 km one way from Ghangaria, 2-4 hours).
Dedicate several hours to exploring the valley, marvelling at the diverse species of alpine flowers. Note that ponies are not permitted within the Valley of Flowers, necessitating walking.
Return to Ghangaria in the afternoon.

Day 4: Trek to Hemkund Sahib and Return to Ghangaria
Commence your trek to Hemkund Sahib (approximately 6 km one way from Ghangaria, 4-5 hours). This ascent presents a steeper and more challenging challenge compared to the Valley of Flowers trek.
Visit the revered Sikh Gurudwara and the serene Hemkund Lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
Descend back to Ghangaria.
Day 5: Ghangaria to Govind Ghat
Trek downhill from Ghangaria back to Pulna/Govind Ghat (approximately 9-14 km, 3-5 hours).
Check into a hotel in Haridwar.
Day 6: Departure from Haridwar
After breakfast, depart from Haridwar for your onward journey (e.g., back to Rishikesh or Haridwar).
